The processing

For Kukicha, also known as "twig tea," the harder parts of the plant—stems and stalks—are used instead of the leaves. After harvesting, these parts undergo through steaming, drying, and roasting. This blend is then enhanced with finely ground matcha and rounded off with yuzu fruits from Shimane Prefecture.

Our Kukicha and matcha powder come from the renowned tea-growing regions of Shizuoka and Kagoshima, known for their ideal temperatures and fertile soils. These regions are important centers of Japanese tea cultivation. Additionally, our yuzu fruits from Shimane grow in perfect conditions, resulting in highly appreciated, balanced flavors and rich citrus notes.
